My brother is engaged! I have been waiting to say those words for about 6 years now, basically since the day he met Camila. Growing up, I was always told when you met the one you're supposed to be with you just know, your life changes for the better, and everything just fits. Love isn't supposed to be as hard as we make it. Yes, there are challenging days, things to work through, but love is supposed to be joyous. Tom and Camila make being in love look so effortless. Through their relationship they've shown me that love is about accepting everything about the other person, even the nitty gritty things... all because you love them. It's about the experiences you share and how you share in them together. Its about being there when it's really hard but also celebrating in all the wonderful things. I've always thought that God puts certain people in our lives at the most perfect of times, and I'm positive that Camila is Tom's perfect and certain person. I could not be happier to welcome Camila into our family. She has been like a sister to me since the day they met, and now she really is. Congrats you two, you've shown me and the rest of those who know you what real love is. I couldn't be happier for the both of you. Now get married already, I'm ready to party.
"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other."
Audrey Hepburn
"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half and hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." -Lewis Carroll
"This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too. And, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soul mate. You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about."
— Marilyn Monroe
Remember this post, "Life is good?" Well, I celebrated Whitney and Natalia achieving their dreams and getting into grad school.... well today's the day both of them officially start living their dreams. I'm a bit selfish because this last week they both left me for Utah and Boston, but I am SO proud of these two girls. They deserve everything they have and they're going to do great things. Go get it girls, have the best day.

My new favorite movie, Country Strong. Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund do a great job with this song. The lyrics are the best.
"I'm gonna wear you down, I'm gonna make you see. I'm gonna get to you, You're gonna give into me. I'm gonna start a fire. You're gonna feel the heat. I'm gonna burn for you, you're gonna melt for me. Come on into my arms, give into me. My heart is set on you, I don't want no one else. And if you don't want me, I guess I'll be all by myself. I'll use my eyes to draw you in, until I'm under your skin. I'll use my lips, I'll use my arms. Come on, come on, give into me."
Sorry for the lack of posting (cough cough Britt and mom)... but it's been quite a couple weeks. Christmas was incredible. The thing I love most about christmas is the ability to spend copious amounts of time with family, doing absolutely nothing and it's completely acceptable. Christmas day was filled with champagne, food, great music, lots of people and an incredible amounts of photos. Not only is December 25th Christmas day, but it's also my mother's birthday, so it involves an off-key version of 'Happy Birthday' and some sort of birthday cake and candles. Needless to say, Christmas was a great day. A couple days after Adam (my boyfriend) came to visit and the whirlwind began. Multiple dinners with the family, suns games, golf games with dad, going away parties and lots of quality time, coupled with a few episodes of Deadliest Catch... it was one of the best weeks. It's been such a blessing being able to spend christmas break with everyone I care about. Adam's week in Arizona ended with a bang; a fancy New Years Eve Party, a mid-night kiss and some fancy attire. We toasted to 2010; saying goodbye to all the good and bad... all the while we cheersed to 2011 and the endless possibilities that come with a new year and a new decade.
The last night of finals!
Christmas Day con la mi familia.
Suns game with Adam :)
Cheers to 2011!
Happy New Year!

My loves.
So here it is, January 5th, 2011. The old saying "The world is my oyster" has never felt so relevant. Second semester of law school and the possibilities are endless. I can honestly say I am looking forward to 2011 with my whole heart. 2010 was a good year, it was full of adventures, challenges, hopes and dreams, but I'm ready for a new year. I'm ready for fresh starts, new firsts and many more memories. Happy New Year's everyone. See ya later 2010, what's up 2011, lets see what you're made of.
“I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you’ll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you’ll make something that didn’t exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.”
-Neil Gaiman
