To my Quinn - Thank you for making me a mom. Thank you for giving me the greatest joy this world has to offer. You are truly my angel baby, my rainbow baby, my blessing. You make my world and my day brighter, your laugh is literally my favorite sound, and when you say Mama, I'm pretty sure my heart breaks. You have fulfilled something in me that I didn't know I was missing. You're the best thing I've ever done. I hope you always know how loved you are, how prayed for you are, and how cherished you are. I promise to always be here for you, love you, and give you advice like my mom still gives me. Like I tell you every night before bed, you're my sweetest baby and I love you the very most.
To my mama - Thank you for being the lady I call every day with every question imaginable. Thank you for letting me tell you random stories and acting interested even if you aren't. Thank you for teaching me how to cook steak, chicken, and eggs. Thank you for helping me decorate every house I've ever lived in. Thank you for coaching me through this mom thing, for being patient, for being kind, and for being you. You have taught me so much about how to be the best mom just by watching you with us kids, especially Erin. The grace you have on a daily basis is astounding. I'm so lucky you are my mom. I literally couldn't imagine my life without you in it every day. I love you mama.
To my mother-in-law - Thank you for welcoming me into your family so seamlessly. Thank you for raising a son, I am so proud to call my husband and father of my kid(s!). Thank you for being a sounding board for all my questions, loving my baby, and never letting me feel like an outsider. Thank you for your kindness, your grace, and your love. I absolutely won the mother-in-law jackpot with you Jane, and I thank God for you everyday day.
To all the mamas - oh my gosh, mamas, you deserve to be praised every single day. If quarantine has taught me anything it's that moms work way harder than anyone, and deserve to be celebrated every day. Mamas - you are strong, you are resilient, you are a goddess, the lover of your family, and the backbone of your family. Being a mom is hard work because it's work we all want to do so desperately, loving our family, but it's hard at the same time! It's a job that never ends, because even when the kids go to sleep, you're planning for more, all while continuing to worry about their safety. It's a never-ending job, but it's the very best job. I hope today your family celebrates you extra and you feel all the love.
To all the mama's out there yearning to be mamas - I want you to know I'm praying for you and for all your future babies. Just because you don't have a baby currently in your hands, doesn't mean you aren't a mama yet. I'm pretty sure, being a mom is something that starts in your heart. I am praying for you. I am praying the desires of your heart become a reality sooner than later. I am praying you know you are loved. God has this amazing plan for you and for your family. While it may be hard to see His plan or the way it's going to work in your life, I pray you feel peace today. And for the day you see the positive pregnancy test line, or you're holding your baby, I will be celebrating you the most. I will be screaming from the mountain top. You are loved, mama.
To all the people who have lost their mamas - I cannot imagine the pain you feel not having your mom in your life. Today, I'm sending you all my love and my hugs. I'm praying you feel your mom today and know she's watching over you, as all moms do. Your mom loves you, too.
To all the moms, in whatever form that may be for you or look like for you - I hope you feel loved and celebrated today. You are incredible. You are loved. You are tough. You are a mama.
Happy Mother's Day, friends!
Happy Thursday friends! Hey, thanks for all the sweet messages on my post yesterday! You guys are so sweet and encouraging, I adore you all. Adam and I didn't get to celebrate yet since he's traveling for work, but Saturday we're planning a day in Boulder. So if you have recommendations, send them my way!
The other night, Adam and I were chatting and he mentioned how this is my last Mother's Day without a baby on the outside. I swear there are times during this pregnancy where I realllyyy realize I'm actually pregnant. I know that sounds weird since I am pregnant, but you know what I mean. Him saying that was one of those times. This time next year I'll be holding my daughter on Mother's Day. Crazy!
Mother's Day is just around the corner and there's no time like the present to celebrate moms everywhere. Ingrid & Isabel has quickly become one of my favorite clothing stores for maternity and even non-maternity. It's hard to find cute stuff, thats comfortable and that isn't just leggings. But, on the topic of leggings, their leggings are the best! Anyways, I've been looking for cute dresses that I can dress up (sneakers) or down (sandals) <-- lets be real long gone are the days of heels.
Ingrid & Isabel is rocking this month especially because they're offering 15% off all first purchases using the promo code MothersMay. Do yourself and all the moms in your life a favor and spoil them with some Ingrid & Isabel this Mothers Day. Or heck, check it out for yourself. they have the cutest stuff.

To all the mamas out there, thank you for all you do. God knows you're strong, powerful, badass, hardworking, dedicated and doing everything you can to keep those little babies (even if they're 30) safe. I'm glad there is a whole day dedicated to you. Ps. Teach me your tricks because I'm already nervous and still have a whole 4 1/2 months to prep!
This is my "I can't believe I'm pregnant face."

Sweet little babe.

Happy Friday & Happy Mother's Day Weekend!
This weekend is dedicated to my mother and all the other amazing mamas out there. I am super fortunate to have a lot of moms in my life. Specifically my mama, you rock. To my mother-in-law, thank you for raising the best son and welcoming me to your family. To my amazing sisters-in-law, you girls are my inspo I cannot wait for my future kids to hang out with their cousins. To my girl friends, you are incredible mamas and proof that mamas are smokin hot.
There are a lot of lucky babies out there.
To all you mamas, this is dedicated to you and all the hard work you put into raising your family. I don't pretend to know how hard it is to raise a human. I have two-dogs and some days I feel like I could pull my hair out. To your long hours, sleepless nights and thankless moments, please allow me to thank you. You are amazing and you deserved to be spoiled today and every day. I know a lot of people saying being a mama can be a thankless job. Well, thankless no more.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I think you are exquisite.
Yes, there are many amazing mama's out there but this post from here down is dedicated to my mama. Happy Mother's day to my favorite lady in the world.
An oldie, but a good - I think this was 2009!
Mom,
Thank you for taking my call all day every day. Yes, I know I call you at 6am and 10pm and every hour in between. But thanks for always answering my call. Thanks for letting me vent about the same things for 45 minutes on end. Thanks for letting me tell you the same stories, the same excitements and the same news. Thanks for listening when I have nothing to tell you and I just call because I'm stuck in traffic.
Thank you for reading my blog, sharing my posts, commenting on my Instagram, telling your friends about my blog and taking pictures for me. Thanks for buying me clothes you think I would like and my readers would buy. Thanks for being my personal shopper.
Thanks for visiting Adam and I in Denver and grocery shopping for me. There is nothing better than a visit from your parents and a trip to Costco.
Thanks for teaching me how to do my laundry when I was a kid, so that I can do my family laundry now. Even though I don't iron Adams undershirts like you do dads, I still know how. Thanks for being martha stewart and knowing exactly how to get red wine out of blouses and spaghetti sauce out of couches.
Thank you for teaching me how to cook chicken. There is nothing worse than raw chicken, so thanks for teaching me how to make sure its cooked. Thanks for teaching me how to make steak. Even though the first time I made it for Adam I almost burned our apartment now, I think I've got it down now.
Thanks for giving me the genetic trait that makes me cry at almost anything. Commercials, a sweet note or even this blog post will probably have both of us in tears by the end. All my friends know I'm the token crier, so I owe that to you.
Thanks for teaching me how to be a good wife an hopefully some day a good mama. I cannot wait for my kids to get to experience you as their nana.
Thank you for teaching me how to love other people. If there is one thing I learned its how to be a gracious host and always want to be the host. Lets face it, we'd rather be in our own house on our own hosting terms. Am I right? One day I'll have a kitchen as big as yours.
Thank you for teaching me how to stand up for myself and what I believe in. Thank you for encouraging me daily. Thank you for supporting me through some life failure and some amazing life joys. I'd literally be lost without you and the force you are in my life.
If I don't say thank you enough, thank you. You are the best mama.
Happy Mother's Day to all you amazing mamas out there. We couldn't do it with out you. Cheers to you, I hope you get to sleep a little later, shower a little longer and snuggle those babies of yours a little more.

Today is dedicated to my gorgeous, amazing, wonderful mom. She's my best friend and the most selfless woman I know. She takes care of everyone around her always and is the perfect host. She's better than Martha Stewart and has a green-thumb better than anyone I know. She's the woman I aspire to be everyday, but especially today. She's the best mom in the world and deserves to have every day dedicated to her. I'm so glad I get to spend today with her!
this was my 21st birthday in vegas!
this was circa 1994? maybe? i mean who else can rock hair like that!
Today is a big day for me today too because I got married yesterday so today is my first day with a mother-in-law! I super lucked out in this department because my mother-in-law rocks. First, she raised my amazing HUSBAND (can you believe he's my husband), but she raised 4 other amazing kids that are now my brothers and sisters-in law. I feel so blessed to have her and her entire family as mine now.
So, today is dedicated to my wonderful mom and mother-in-law. I'm so lucky to spend today with both of you and feel so fortunate to have you both. I'm the luckiest daughter in the world.
