It's the BEST transition piece for fall to winter and back to spring because you can layer cardigans with cute jackets and vice versa. And the other best part about this trend? It's probably something you already have in your closet! We're just putting a new little fresh spin on them!
The best part of anything cropped, in my opinion, is it helps give you shape. Pair this with a high waisted pair of jeans, skirt or a dress and it instantly gives you a waistline. I think it helps create a really tailored look in a very comfortable way!
I've added two additional sweaters to this roundup because I couldn't resist trying them on! One is cropped but not a cardigan and one is long (but a cardigan!). I'm just trying to keep you guys on your toes!
OUTFIT DETAILS:
- Rd Style Camo Zip Up Hoodie Pullover: medium, true to size! This fits a little oversized, but I would wear true to size. It has a hood and it so cozy! It's not itchy, and I love all the colors in it!
- Michael Stars Boatneck Tank: Medium, true to size. I would even say it fits a little small. Everyone needs this tank. It's ribbed and thick and is the best material.
- Agolde Sophie Ankle Skinny: 29. These are skinny people and a little more low rise than I am used too. They are true to size in my waist, skinny around my ankles and low on my waist.
- P448 White Zebra High Top Sneaker: 9 - true to size. I'm obsessed with this hightop sneaker trend. They are super soft and so comfortable.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
- 525 America Shaker Puff Sleeve: Medium. This fits cropped, so I would size up. I love the bright orange color and the shoulder pops. It's perfect for fall!
- Agolde Toni Mid Rise Straight black jeans: 29. These have a little stretch in them and fit a little loser than a skinny, plus they have a great bootcut to them.
- Sorel Lennox Lace Boot - 9, true to size. These lace up and fit like a glove, but not too tight. The waterproof full-grain leather welcomes rainstorms, while the comfortable EVA footbed keeps you comfortable all day. The rubber sole gives you the traction you need for urban treks.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
- Chaser Venice High Low Hoodie: Medium, grey or terracota (do you see a fall color trend here?!). Fits true to size.
- P448 Glitter Sneaker: 9. I'm going to say this one more time, this sneaker trend isn't going anyyyywhere people. Buy sneakers you like, that are comfy and ones you can wear with everything. If I'm not being straight forward enough, get yourself some P448s, they are worth the investment.
- Matty M Nolan Plaid Coat: Medium - fits oversized. This coat is incredible. I love that you can layer it over a hoodie, sweater, or wear alone. It's cute to dress up over leggings, or jeans, and would be so cute over a dress.
- Spanx Faux Leather Moto Legging: Medium. These are tight and high-waisted but exactly how they should fit.

It's Wednesday which means it's time for SETS. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that sets are HUGE right now. I posted a huge collection on Sunday, and now here we are with more!
The reason I love a good set is because you feel put together while also being beyond comfortable. In this weird work from home period of time, finding a good set is imperative. Evereve knocks it out of the park AGAIN with these sets.
Let's talk about Sundry. Guys, these Sundry sets are incredible. They are the softest material everrrrr. Like I wish I was exaggerating, but I am not. They are perfectly tailored, a little longer (hello tall girls!), and they come in the cutest patterns.

This set came home with me. I love the cut rough neck of the sweatshirt and I loved the bright pink. Plus, it's cozy. We're entering fall and I wanted a warmer set. Also, did you notice I'm rocking my sneaks with this set? See, I told you sets and sneakers go with everything!

- Sundry Gradient Tie Dye Pullover and Sundry Gradient Tie Dye Jogger - medium. I bought this one, so that should tell you how much I love it.
- P448 Glitter Sneaker (white) - 9! I love these because they are the most "basic" meaning they go with everything and anything. If you're looking for a great white sneaker, with a little flair, these are the sneaks!
I feel sad that I didn't take this one home. It's such a great fit and such a cute pattern. Plus it's softer than butter. I mayyyyy be going back for this one.

- Sundry Leopard Hoodie and Sundry Leopard Pocket Jogger - medium, true to size. Obsessed is an understatement. And hey tall girls, these fit longer, not cropped like a log of joggers.
- P448 White Zebra High Top Sneaker: 9 - true to size. I'm obsessed with this hightop sneaker trend. They are super soft and so comfortable.
This leather jacket has been feeling all the feels. It's hard to find a good leather jacket that isn't $1000 or looks like plastic. This Marrakech leather bomber is the perfect addition to any closet. It fits perfectly, true to size, I'm wearing a medium and has the cutest detail to separate it from all those other boring leather jackets out there. Dress it down, over a cute Sundry set (more on this, this week too!), or throw it on over a dress. This jacket is so versatile, I think this trend will stick around for a long time.

- Sundry Camo Hoodie Sweatshirt and Sundry Camo Pocket Jogger: Medium. The thing I love about this set is it feels very put together while being so comfortable. It's basically dressier jammies. And hey tall girls! Finally a jogger that fits long and not mid-calf!
- P448 Black Spots Sneaker: 9, true to size. Guys, the sneaker trend isn't going anywhere (more on these later this week too!). It's time to give in and buy a pair you LOVE. The thing I love about P448s is how comfortable they are. Plus, they change them all the time, so you won't see everyone wearing the same shoe. These black spots version are so cute!

It's TUESDAY which means it's time for SNEAKERS. Guys, I'm pretty sure sneakers is my favorite (fall) trend of all time. Here's the deal with sneakers, they go with everything. From jeans, to skirts, to dresses, to leggings. You name it, I can make sneakers work. Plus, you add chasing a 2 year old and a 2 month old around and sneakers not only become fashion, they become a necessity.
I'm obsessed with the fact that hightops are back in style! Hooray 1987! And I love that sneakers are now considered fashion and not just sensible shoe wear.
Evereve has always killed the game when it comes to sneakers. They specialize in P448s, but they also carry New Balance, J Slides, Dolce Vita, Sorrel, and Gola. What does this mean? That there are tons of price ranges of the cutest sneakers.
When I was at Evereve on Saturday, I had the sweetest older lady (about 75!) ask me what sneaker she should get. She said she doesn't have any pairs and just wants one that will go with everything. I recommended a white low top Goya sneaker. She ended up with these Goya Nova Sneakers because they are majority white with the cutest leopard flair on the back. AKA - she can wear these with anything.
So that's my suggestion - if you're looking at these and thinking, holy cow, so many choices, I just want one to go with everything -- I would suggest the P448 glitter sneaker, the Goya Nova, or as you guys know, the white New Balance Alley sneaker (aka my most favorite sneaker ever).
Then once you realize you love sneakers more than anything, you can go for the spicy P448 calf hair high tops :P

- Varley Luna Legging: Medium - true to size. The leggings are like butter. They fit like a glove, they feel nice, look nice, and honestly might be my new favorite legging. They sit high on my waist (which is great for this post-partum mama), but they aren't as tight at Spanx (thank heavens). They come in a variety of cute patterns, and man alive people, are just so good.
- Varley Bayliss Sweatshirt: Medium - true to size. The thing I love most about this sweatshirt, besides that it's as soft, if not softer than the leggings, is it's length. It' comes down, just enough to cover my butt and whoo ha. The light pink is a stunning color and it's so cozy. Remember what I said? It's a perfect versatile brand that allows you to wear athleisure wear without looking like a slob. Do what you gotta do to get yourself a piece from this new brand.

Hi friends, happy Monday! Tomorrow is the official start of fall which means, cue all the cute fall clothes! I for one, am so dang ready for fall. Bring on the cooler temps, the pumpkin flavored everything (hello, pumpkin spice cream cold brew!), and all the cute clothes.

Today, we're talking about cropped jackets! This is quickly become one of my favorite trends, because it's so cute and so flattering. Don't get me wrong, I love a long jacket, but the cropped adds a cute waistline (and is less bulky!).
If you follow me on Instagram, hint hint, you should, you know I've been loving this Z Supply jacket in the terracota color. It feels like you're wearing a quilt, except less heavy. It's the coziest jacket I've ever owned and I'm loving it in this sage green color. It's honestly the perfect transition piece from summer to fall, tide ya over through winter, and all the way into spring.

Last, but certainly not least, the red puffer jacket that is breaking the internet. This duck down jacket is perfect for fall because of how light weight it feels, but also perfect for winter, because hi, duck down! It's so cozy and warm. The crop makes a usually heavy-type jacket feel very easy to wear. Plus the color is gorgeous! Ladies, I've found your next winter coat.

- Anorak Hero Puffer Jacket: Medium, fits true to size. It's meant to be cropped, so if you're looking for a huge bulky jacket, this is not it. It fits cropped and a little wider (but not huge!). It seriously is beautifully cut and tailored looking. I love the high color, the zip, and it comes with a pouch that you can store it in, genius for travel.
- Sub Urban Riot I'm Sorry Before Coffee Tee: Medium, fits true to size. This is just the perfect white fitted tee. Plus, it speaks the truth!
- Agolde Toni Straight Ankle: 29. If you haven't tried Agolde denim yet, whats stopping you? These jeans are seriously the best fit (you've probably seen the jean shorts taking over the blogger IG world). They feel like real denim, none of that jeggings stuff, and they are cute. The coloring on them is always perfect and they fit like a glove.

It feels like it's been forever since I was last at Evereve and my gosh, did I miss it! They are currently transitioning to spring and I am so dang excited. I can't wait for warm weather, sunshine and dresses.
This try-on I focused on more basic, casual pieces. Ya know, the ones that transition well from cold to warm, but also are just down right comfortable. Happy shopping!

Tee: Chaser New Mexico Tee. I'm obsessed with graphic tees. OBSESSED.
Sweater: Allison Joy Conroy Hot Pink Cardigan. The thing I like most about this sweater is it's cropped and a little boxy. Plus the bright pink is the best and most brightest!
Jeans: Agolde Toni Mid Rise Straight. I am currently obsessed with straight leg jeans. I find them more comfortable than skinnys and I love the way they look with sneakers. I'm wearing a 28. They have minimal stretch to them, but are seriously so comfortable. They are not super high rise, but mid-rise. And, the light wash makes me so excited for everything spring and bright colors.
Sneakers: J/Slides Sallie Wedge Sneaker (in black) and J/Slides Sallie Wedge Sneaker (in tan). These are my most favorite sneakers. They are hi-rise, have a slight wedge and overall just very comfortable. I'm wearing a size 9, my true size and they fit perfectly.

Sweatshirt: Free People Ombre Metti Crew. I wear this every other day. I am not joking. Adam asked me the other day when I was going to wash it. It's oversized, SO comfortable and so warm. It's a thicker texture. I can't say enough good things about this sweatshirt.

Shoes: Sorel Nadia Lace. Did you know Sorel makes sandals!? I had no clue. Add the comfort of Sorels into sandals. I love the lace up details so much. I'm wearing a 9, true to size.
OUTFIT SEVEN:
Jumper: Peyton Jensen Christiana Tie Dye Jumpsuit. I'm a sucker for a good jumpsuit. I love the pattern of this one and it's perfect for spring! It's cropped at the ankle and cinched at the waist. I'm wearing a medium and it fits true to size!
Jacket: Kut From The Kloth Amelia Denim Jacket. Remember what I said about jean jackets - you can never have too many. Having a white one in your wardrobe is a must have. It's perfect for summer and spring.
Heels: Kenneth Cole Olcott Wedge Sandal. These shoes are magic. They are the most comfortable wedges I've ever worn and I love the bright red. They are cute with jeans and dresses. PLUS they are on SALE for $47!! Do it.
OUTFIT EIGHT:
Dress: Bb Dakota Something About Dots Midi Dress. In this picture I'm wearing a medium, but I'd probably size down. It's fitted right below the chest and then is perfect and flowy. This dress would be so cute paired with sneakers, heels, sandals, everything. I can't wait to bust this out in the spring!

Happy New Years (almost!)! I hope you all had the very best Christmas. Ours was so wonderful, spent with Adam's family in Omaha. It's so fun getting all the cousins together, watching Quinnie love on her big cousins and spend time with that side of the family. Time is always too short, but too good.
It's the end of the year, and whats better than a December Evereve Try on Session. I have had so much fun showing you my try-ons over the last 5 months and I cannot wait for the outfits 2020 is going to bring! PS. They are having a HUGE sale right now, things up to 70%. OUTFIT ONE // I wore wide leg jeans in my 20's and I'm V excited to see them coming back in my 30's. AND THEY ARE ON SALE. These are so great and stretchy and I love how extra-long they make my legs look. Fair warning, they are not as high as I'm used too, but they are still higher than hips. They have a great amount of stretch in them, are the perfect royal blue and would go so cute with tops like this one, blouses in the summer and wedges. Oh the possibilities! I'm wearing a size 28 in these (7 for Mankind) and a small in the blouse.

OUTFIT TWO // My biggest regret in this try-on is not buying this jacket. It's like a fuzzy fitted fleece and I need it in my life. I'm wearing a small and it fits to a t. If you wanted it a little over-sized I'd recommend sizing up. Same jeans, cuz I can't stop. And a small in the graphic tee. I'm usually not a graphic tee kinda girl, but I love the bright colors in this one. PS. This jacket is ON SALE!

OUTFIT FOUR // Would you believe me if I told you I've worn this no less than 20 times since I purchased this entire outfit. I finally bit the bullet and bought Spanx leggings and I'm punching myself for waiting so long. I love the slight camo these have. I'm wearing a medium in the spanx. Plus, this oversized hoodie is what my winter dreams are made of. It's oversized, so cozy and I love the green. I'm wearing a small in the hoodie.

OUTFIT FIVE // This is me making leggings a little "fancier." Is it working? A large oversized grey sweater (that is ONLY $23!!) with a fancy scarf (thats on SALE) and now I'm fancy. This is a perfect transition when you don't want to look like you're going to work out, but also want to stay in leggings. You're welcome. Small in the sweater, it is oversized. Medium in leggings.

OUTFIT SEVEN // This is not my style. But I love it. I'm not a huge leather jacket person, but I think with the right outfit, it's key. This is a Michael Stars jumpsuit that you could easily dress up or down (see the last picture!). The secret to this jumpsuit, is the material is stretchy, but it looks fancy.

OUTFIT EIGHT // The things I love about a shift dress is that it fits perfectly on most people. It hangs straight, looks great paired with a jacket and doesn't ride up on your legs. I love the pattern on this one too. Paired with a black leather jacket and the comfiest OTK boots. PS. These boots are on sale!

OUTFIT NINE // This is something I would wear every day. Another way to dress up leggings. I'm a sucker for camo and I love the combo of these two types of camo. Another graphic tee, I know what you're thinking, who am I? The best part about this jacket is on the back, you can tighten it to make it a little more fitted.

OUTFIT TEN // The best part about this jacket is that you can remove the fur collar. Why can't you do that with all jackets? Oh, and it's on SALE. This jacket is fitted, soft and the cutest addition to my growing leopard collection. These Frame jeans aren't my favorite TBH, they are pretty short and make my legs look stumpy. I do love the color though.

OUTFIT ELEVEN // I know what you guys are thinking, kristen is that a robe? If I told you it was a jacket but felt like a robe and IT WAS ON SALE would it convince you to buy it? I know I throw around the phrase, magic in here a lot, but this jacket is pure magic. It is hands down the comfiest thing I've ever worn. It doubles as a robe, blanket, perfect for snuggling and so dang warm. I throw it on almost every night when I come home. I'm wearing a medium, because I love the oversize feel of it. PS. This is also the jumpsuit from outfit 7! Another way to wear this, cozy jacket and sneakers. See, it's so versatile.
