Veteran's Day + a birthday!

On this Veterans Day, let us remember the service of our veterans, and let us renew our national promise to fulfill our sacred obligations to our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much so that we can live free.

Thank you does not seem like enough. How do you say thank you for something that is so huge it's hard to grasp? How do you thank someone you've never met for something you can never repay? The love I have for our veterans is so immense, when I think about their sacrifice it brings me to tears. The gratitude I have for our veterans is impossible to put into words, but since I'm a blogger, I will try.

Thank you. Thank you for choosing to serve this country. Thank you for volunteering your life for mine. Thank you for protecting me, my family and my freedom. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for your heroism. Thank you everything you do. Thank you. Thank you. I am forever grateful and forever thankful.

Today is also my sister-in-law Brooke's Birthday! I got very lucky when I married Adam in that I married into two wonderful sisters, Brooke being one of them. She is kind and loving and hilarious and I'm so lucky to have her in my life. 

Brooke, Happy Birthday!! Thanks for being such a wonderful sister to me. You've always been there for me and I appreciate you and your support more than you know. I hope today you feel celebrated and loved. PS Thanks for giving me two adorable nieces. I love you!
