What you do matters.

So, tonight was the night. As dramatic as it sounds, tonight was the series finale of One Tree Hill. Feel free to make fun, I know its slightly immature, but One Tree Hill was the show that saved me and I'm pretty sure it saved every high school girl once or twice. Brooke Davis said tonight, "Somedays I wake up and I miss it, but then I realize it's all here (in my heart)." OTH started when I was a sophomore in high school and now.... 9 years later, a 2L in law school, it has finally come to an end. I know this is all sounding soooo dramatic and a little bit nuts, but OTH is and will always be my favorite show. Whitney and I skyped while watching it, drank red wine and cried together while we listened to Gavin Degraw sing and Brooke Davis' eloquent speeches. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to our favorite TV show. One of the best parts about OTH were the quotes, so here's my fav, and it just so happened to be the final quote on the final show.

Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want, everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is going to come from. The next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it's right around the corner, and you open up your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you're wishing for. The world is full of magic. You just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it, with all of your heart.

  1. kristen grace you are so sneaky taking a picture of me and OTH! I love this post and I dont think its dramatic at all. Love you

  2. Law student, eh? Started thinking about that future job yet? May I make a suggestion? Check out JD Match in between the papers and exams. I work with JD Match and it’s a great step for any law student looking for an AmLaw firm job and a little weight off their shoulders. http://bit.ly/IFbUIO
