On my podcast, This Girl Life we do a segment called Yay and Nay with Whit and K. We talk about one thing we're loving and one thing we're not loving. We were chatting about how it's always easier to find a Nay than a Yay!
Why is it that it's always easier to talk about the bad things versus talking about the good.
I'm changing that today by sharing the 15 things I'm thankful for today. No complaining, just pure joys. If you're looking for some more joys, I've linked my other thankful posts here!
ONE // The fact that it's Friday. Fridays have changed a lot for me because honestly, it means two uninterrupted days with my family. God knew what He was doing when He gave us the weekend and a day of rest. I'm gonna be honest, I really need it this weekend.
TWO // Speaking of, my family. I'm so obsessed with my little family. Not a minute goes by that I'm not eternally thankful for my sweet family.
THREE // The chaos. My house is full of toys, full of noise, full of chaos and I love every dang minute.
FOUR // My cold glass of wine that's waiting for me tonight.
FIVE // TGL - This Girl Life has been such an amazing place of growth, passion, and encouragement.
SIX // My amazing Everyday Grace readers/listeners/instagram story watchers. You have made my little space, yours. You've loved it, nurtured it, given suggestions and helped me grow. You've encouraged me, challenged me, and loved me through.
SEVEN // Hot coffee, iced coffee, lukewarm coffee, melted ice coffee, day old coffee, coffee flavored everything coffee. I'm a mom, it's my lifeline.
EIGHT // This is silly, but if you know, you know, I love TV. I'm so glad all my fall shows are back. I can't wait to sit on my couch and watch Greys, all the Chicago shows, This is Us, and more.
NINE // Facetime. Every morning Quinnie and I Facetime my mom and it's my favorite, Quinn just lights up. Getting to be close to family without being physically close is amazing.
TEN // The quietness that comes with a slow Sunday morning. There is something so wonderful about waking up Quinnie at 7 and our slow morning before we go to church.
ELEVEN // This sweater that I can't seem to stop wearing. And basically everything Evereve has to offer.
TWELVE // Fall! It's so dang nice out. I need to find myself at a pumpkin patch with a hot latte pronto. And, I need to plan a mountain trip. I'm getting jealous of everyones fall pictures, I need to see those beautiful aspens myself!
THIRTEEN // Everything Lauren Daigle. I can't stop listening to every song she sings. Her voice is pure magic. She was just at Red Rocks and I'm so bummed I missed her!
FOURTEEN // My mom bible study. It's amazing to me how important community with other moms is. To be able to sit and ask for prayers, and help, support, and love. Being a mom is amazing, but can be so darn tough, having friends in the same space is such a blessing.
FIFTEEN // Adam. He gets a specific shoutout today because he's just the best and deserves to be praised for being a great dad and husband.
Happy Friday friends! What are you thankful for today?

Happy Friday friends! What are you thankful for today?
This post is going to be heavyyyy Quinn related, but I can't help it. I'm basking in new baby glow. This month has flown by in quite a blur, but it's been the best sleepless baby blur I could have ever imagined.
Before we get to all the things I'm thankful for, I gotta give a birthday shout-out to my gf Lyndsey!
ONE // Well this one is a given, but Quinn being born was the obvious highlight of this month and my life. I could gush and gush over her forever and I probably will.

Happy Birthday Lynds! Thanks for being such an amazing friend, mama guru and life-coach. I'd be lost on this mama journey without you! I love you! Have the best day! xx

TWO // Watching Adam become a dad. Watching him with Quinn makes me cry. She is too young to understand how lucky she is to have him, but I cannot wait to continue to watch their bond grow.
THREE // My mom, dad, mother-in-law and father-in-law coming for Quinn's birth. What a blessing to have such incredible family around us.

FOUR // My best friend Coti coming to love on Quinn this weekend. Oh I am so lucky to have such supportive friends who love her the way I do.
FIVE // Three weeks of Adam being home. In all of our relationship, we've never had 3 weeks off together. Doing these first three weeks together, home with Quinn has been such a huge blessing. I'm so thankful for him.
Happy Friday friends, what are you thankful for this month?
Has it hit anyone else that July is over in 5 days? 5 days people! It's almost August. 151 days until Christmas. 158 days until 2019. I haven't done a Thankful Friday in a long time and it's time. There are a lot of things going on in the world, good, bad, ugly and it's so important to look to the good.
There are so many good things going on. But I love looking at the little things. The small things that go unnoticed but have a huge impact. Not the winning the lottery things (don't get me wrong, it'd be nice) but the little moments on a Sunday afternoon that make the week better, the text from a friend checking in, ya know the sweet stuff.
Let's take the time and be a little extra thankful today.
ONE // This weekend in Steamboat Springs. This weekend Adam and my in-laws and I are heading up to Steamboat Springs to celebrate Adam's birthday!
TWO // My husband. It's his birthday this weekend and I'm feeling especially grateful for my handsome devil of a hubs.
THREE // 46 days. The amount of days left until we meet baby girl!
THREE // 46 days. The amount of days left until we meet baby girl!
FOUR // One Tree Hill. If you've been following along, you know sleep isn't coming easy to me lately. Thankfully, Hulu has One Tree Hill and it's something I've been watching late night when the whole rest of my house is asleep.
FIVE // Amazon Prime. Guys, I had a bit of a freakout last week when I realized we didn't have diapers or a second car seat base. Like, I have 10,000 outfits for babygirl but when she poops her pants, I was in trouble. Thankfully, Amazon Prime sends monthly diapers to me and baby girl. Thank heavens.
Happpyyy Friday! Let's be real, the news is full of depressing crap and what we can all use more of is a little gratitude. Let's celebrate the weekend by being thankful, it is Friday for heavens sake.
What are you thankful today? It doesn't have to be a big thing. The fact that its supposed to be sunny all day is enough. Share yours below.

ONE // Tomorrow is my Omaha baby shower! I'm thankful for my mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and all the wonderful ladies that are helping me celebrate baby girl.

TWO // My husband. I have traveled every weekend in June except last weekend and they've all been without my hubs. This weekend he's joining me in Omaha and I'm so thankful.
THREE // Baby girl. We had our 29 week appointment this week and her heartbeat sounded great, she's measuring perfectly and she's kicking like a champ. I love being able to see and feel her kicks. Plus, I love that we have 11 weeks left! We're getting so close!

FOUR // Tums. Let's get real here ladies. Heartburn has become a real life pregnancy thing and it sucks. But luckily tums and apple cider vinegar makes it a little more manageable. PS. if you have tips, send them my way, please.
FIVE // Whole Foods Gelato. Guys, if you haven't checked out Whole Foods gelato you are missing out. My advice, get a container of salted caramel and I dare you not to eat the entire thing.
Happpyyy Friday! Today is a great day. Sure, it's supposed to snow, but my boss gave me the day off, I'm finally running all those errands I put off all week and it's Friday!
You read that right, it's supposed to snow tonight, so what does a girl do when it's damn cold out? Prep the baby room! Finally! I'm so excited. Tomorrow we're venturing to buy the paint, look for cribs and start this process. I'm so excited to finally get started.
This was a long pregnancy week. I shared some of those truths in yesterdays post. So today I feel extremely thankful for thankful Friday. It doesn't have to be big things. It can be a delicious latte, a good nights sleep or a sweet text. I think it's important in the midst of the crazy, to find those little things I'm thankful for. It puts things in perspective for me.
Happy weekend friends. What are you thankful for today?
ONE // My mom tribe. I didn't realize I had one of these, but I do. Every time I ask questions, post polls or need advice on Instagram, I get the best outpouring of love, support (some judgment, keeps me honest) and advice. I didn't know I had a mom tribe before, but I'm so dang glad I do.

TWO // My Fab Fit Fun Spring Box. Next week I'm sharing all the goods. Trust me, there are some amazing goods. It's a box you don't want to miss, plus a promo code to get your own!
THREE // Van's Gluten Free Waffles. Do yourself a favor, head to Whole Foods or Amazon and buy these waffles. Slap on some almond butter and thank me later. These are the perfect sweet tooth breakfast satisfier.
FOUR // If you saw my post from Monday, you saw my obsession with Carrie Underwood. Well, if you know how YouTube works, you watch one video and then before you know it, you're in a rabbit hole of old videos. Today, I'm thankful for old Carrie Underwood videos, this one to be specific.
FIVE // Lavender, Eucalyptus, Peppermint Essential Oils. In the spirit of keeping things more natural, I'm loving these three essential oils. Great for headaches, relaxation and they just smell damn good.
Happy Friday friends! Anything fun planned for your weekend? Mine involves painting and starting to decorate the baby room! Make sure to follow Insta stories for all the behind the scenes!

Happy Friday friends! Adam and I are in Omaha this weekend because Adam has tickets to the sweet sixteen and elite eight games and he loves his sports! Plus, a weekend with family is always a good idea.
This week is so fun for me and Thankful Friday because I am finally able to talk about our little addition to our family.
One thing I am especially thankful for is all of you, your kind words, your incredible outpouring of love and support. I am so thankful for the incredible people in our lives. We are so blessed and baby girl is so loved.
ONE // Baby girl Kavan. We are so excited that we finally got to share our news and now we can finally talk about it! I cannot wait for her to be here. September, hurry up!
TWO // This spotify playlist. It's my newest obsession. What are your favorite songs right now? It's no secret I LOVE country. But, there are some others on there! Plus. if you need some great worship music to listen to, Caleb + Kelsey is my favorite.
THREE // My husband. Like I mentioned a few weeks ago, I was in the ER. I'll detail that soon with some pregnancy truth blogs coming your way, but anyways. Adam has had to take on a lot of things around the house, because I can't lift over 10 pounds. He's my superhero. Plus, he's the cutest.
FOUR // My Yeti rambler. This is another shout-out to my SIL Brooke, but this Yeti has legit changed my life. I'm not a great water drinker, but being pregnant, I need to be, This cup keeps everything cold, has a huge straw and is teal. I swear by it guys, you need one.
FIVE // My sisters-in-law. Let's be real, I know nothing about babies. But luckily for me, three of my sisters-in-law are mamas and have been more than helpful in my baby questions. Like, what's boppy? Apparently it's something I need desperately.
Happy Friday friends! Guys, know what I'm most excited for? Spring starts NEXT Tuesday! I'm so pumped. I'm so excited I bought myself some tulips. And, I bought sunflowers. I couldn't help myself, they're so pretty and springy!
Then, I grabbed tea, sat on the patio and basked in the sunshine. Can you tell spring puts me in a way better mood?! Let's get thankful people.
ONE // The NCAA tournament. I'm so pumped it's not football, there is so much basketball on TV and the energy is buzzing. Granted Arizona lost last night and that totally screwed me, but hey, that's the nature of the game.
TWO // Spring is next week! (praise hands!)
THREE // Weekends. We have some super fun plans this weekend and I cannot wait to share our weekend recap with you next week!
FOUR // Caleb + Kelsey. They are my new favorite singing couple. They sing worship music and its my favorite music to listen to during the work day.
FIVE // Insta Stories. Two of my girlfriends have been pressuring me to make more insta stories (I see you Kate and Callie). So I'm trying. And you guys are SO supportive! I'm obsessed with you. Thanks for humoring me insta story watchers.
Happy Friday friends! We made it through another week! (Praise hands!) I for one, am really needing this weekend. I hope you all have some fun plans, or no plans at all this weekend.
One thing I know we can be thankful for, the fact that the Bachelor is over! Praise. That was honestly the worst season ever and it ended in the worst way. But Becca is the Bachelorette, we can never say his name again and we can all move on. That recap will be on the blog Monday. It's gonna be short, not so sweet and then we can wrap this up!
Happy International Woman's Day (a day late!). I hate that I missed this post, because we, as woman are badasses. I'm especially thankful for all the strong, powerful, amazing woman in my life, readers of this blog and those doing the things they love. Keep up the good work girls, who runs the world?
Last week I LOVED reading all that you are thankful for. I just love this idea that at the end of a long week, we remind ourselves to be thankful.
ONE // My health. It's been a long week including a visit to the ER on Monday. But, it's amazing what the human body is capable of. I'm healing, I'm healthy and I'm so incredibly thankful.
TWO // My dogs, especially Henry this week. We found out my little champ has a heart murmur and he has to go in for some serious tests. But he's taking things like the little monster he is. And Lola, just chugging along like the little crazy she is.
THREE // My husband. It's not easy to get a call from your wife that she's in the ER, especially when the ER is in Omaha. But my husband, even from a state away was able to make me calm, feel supported and was a constant rock. I'm obsessed with him.
FOUR // The weather. Something not health related. It's going to be 65 degrees in Denver today and I'm basking in the little things. I'm going to take my book and read on the patio today and for that, I am thankful.
FIVE // The weekend. God knew what He was doing when He gave us the weekend and a day of rest. I'm gonna be honest, I really need it this weekend. I'm going to lay low, hang with my husband and dogs and be thankful for another week and another weekend.
BONUS // My sister in laws and my girlfriends. My sister in law took me to the ER to meet my other SIL and my gfs. My gfs brought me fresh sweatpants and they all sat with me for over 4 hours while we waited in the ER. I'm feeling especially thankful for these amazing woman in my life.

Happy Friday friends! Today is a beautiful day in Denver, clear skies, 65 degrees and its officially the weekend! What the world needs now is a reminder that there is still good. A reminder that we can still be thankful for the small things even when the big things seem too big to handle.
Let's take today and every Friday to chat about the five things we're thankful for.

ONE // Mr. Rogers. I recently read something that one time Mr. Rogers received a letter from a viewer of his show who happened to be blind. She mentioned in her letter she had heard Mr. Rogers talk about his pet fish, but never heard him mentioning feeding the fish. After he received this letter and at the end of every show, he would feed his fish and say "I am now feeding my fish" so that little girl knew the fish were okay.
TWO // My family: Last weekend I had 5 whole days with my mom and dad in town and it was amazing. We shopped, ate out, went to the mountains and just enjoyed each others company. I'll never take for granted time spent with my parents.
THREE // Starbucks Decaf Peach Tea: It's the best. Add a packet of honey, grab a great book and thank me later.
FOUR // My Job: I started a new job about 4 months ago and it's one of the best things I've done for my life, my family and my sanity. Next week on the blog I'm sharing all the details of leaving the legal field and what I'm doing now.
FIVE // Group texts. Sure, sometimes the constant notifications kill me because I'm a little OCD and I hate having red 1's on my apps. But, constant communication with my best friends? Totally worth the red 1's.
Dear Readers of Everyday Grace,
First, thank you. You guys rock. You're the best and most loyal readers I could have ever dreamed of. You have made my little space, yours. You've loved it, nurtured it, given suggestions and helped me grow.
Second, thank you for challenging me. Thank you for pushing me to be better. Thank you for helping me be a better blogger. Thank you for giving me productive advice. Thank you for being kind and not mean. Thank you for realizing that this blog is bigger than me.
Everyday Grace readers, thank you for making me feel welcomed. In this big bad world of blogging, you make me feel like I matter. In the midst of the competition, you've made me feel like I can succeed. You comment on my posts, you like my posts on Facebook and Instagram, you pin my Pinterest posts and you "love" me on Bloglovin.
You, readers of Everyday Grace, are my inspiration.
The funny thing about this blog is when I started it, I was afraid to tell my mom and my best friend. I was afraid to write about things that mattered or things that made me hurt. Today, I'm writing about my failures, my injuries and my dreams. This space makes me feel inspired. It makes me feel like I can share my thoughts and feelings with people who appreciate my words.
Thank you for giving me the desire to keep blogging. You are the reason I sit, computer in my lap, figuring out things to interest you. You are the reason I reach out to people so that I can create content that you like. You're also the reason I'm up at 11 pm with thousands of blog topics swirling around, but I forgive you this time :)
Thank you for not judging me when I talk about my love for red and white wine, beer, ten pieces of pizza and all things sweet. Oh, and for failing 30 days of paelo - thank you for not judging me, but encouraging me. Thanks for not judging me when I don't blog for a week or for when I take a 3 month hiatus.
You are the reason I tell people my dream is to be a professional blogger. You are the reason I fight for sponsors, ad space, affiliate links and more. You are the reason I set goals, hope to achieve them and continue to spend hours upon hours on this little space. My husband thanks you for turning him into an Instagram husband - he might not say that out loud, but I know he's thinking it.
Thank you for loving Everyday Grace even more than I do. Thank you for loving me.

Happy Birthday to my Kindred Spirit, Natalia! So glad we're friends and sisters.
You made every day a little brighter. I love you! xx
Happy December everyone! Can you believe it is December 10th already? This is how I know I'm not the best blogger because my Happy December post is being posted on the 10th and I still have yet to share a gift guide with all of you. Let's be real, while I LOVE looking at gift guides, I can't create one. Maybe it's not that I can't, I just don't want too. Anyways, it's the middle of December, we are 15 days away from Christmas and I've over here still trying to figure out how to slow time down.
I had all these huge plans for "the holidays." Bake cookies all the time, watch every Lifetime and Hallmark Christmas movie, watch Elf at least 15 times, drink Baileys on ice. Where is the time going!?
I still haven't mailed my Christmas cards yet.
Anyways, it's December so therefore this post is technically a throwback. I had the best Thanksgiving and I want to share it with all of you. Adam and I ventured to Arizona for Thanksgiving and had the best time eating dinner outside, taking too many photos and enjoying time with our family and friends.
I wish holidays lasted for so much longer than they actually do.
<3 family
sisters
my little nephew
my hubby.
I hope you all had the best Thanksgiving ever!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! If you're celebrating like me today, you're outside, drinking wine, stuffing your face with turkey and taking thousands of pictures. Regardless, I'm hope you're happy, full and celebrating all the wonderful things we have to be thankful for.
Are you ready for this list. I've got a lot and I love listing it because when I'm feeling sad or down, I turn to this blog and this post and I'm instantly reminded of how insanely blessed I am.
What are you thankful for today?

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, hooray! Today I am spending the day with my family, especially my mom, helping her prep for the big day tomorrow. Spending time with my mom is the absolute best. Cooking with her and learning from her is even better. I'm so lucky to have a mom who is practically Martha Stewart.
Every since I can remember my mom has always hosted Thanksgiving. I honestly never remember being any where else for Thanksgiving until Adam and I started sharing holidays. My mother is the perfect host. She reminds me of Monica in Friends when Monica "is always the hostess". Lets be real, my mom is the best host, so why go elsewhere.
I am so excited to spend thanksgiving in Arizona. 3 full days of sunshine, family, great food, delicious wine and everyone I love.
TODAY, I am grateful for Arizona. I am grateful for my huge family. I am grateful for a place to call home. I am grateful for the beautiful blue skies, the green cactus' and the fact that I know my way around everyone. I am thankful for too many pictures, laughing until it hurts and hugs that last forever.

It's really easy to forget to be thankful. I know that sounds terrible, but let's be real, it's the truth. It's easy to look at the world and everything going on and forget to be thankful that we live in the Land of the Free home (because) of the brave. But today I am celebrating everything I have to be thankful for.
I love thanksgiving because it is a day, an entire day, 24 hours where my entire focus is on being thankful. Emily from Ember Grey is currently doing A week of Grate(full)ness and I just love this idea. An entire week spent realizing how lucky I am (& we all are) and how grateful I am.
TODAY I'm grateful for a warm house, a warm bed and a loving husband. Sometimes I rag on our apartment because I have dreams of a home, but today I am so grateful for a place that Adam and I have made home together. I'm grateful for Adam and his enduring love. I'm grateful that I have food on my plate every night. I am grateful for all the things I sometimes take for granted.

Hello blogworld, sorry for the lack of blogging! Things are changing over here at Everyday Grace and I've been working on all that fun stuff. But have no fear, I'm back! One exciting change, is my domain name is officially changed. Now when you want to read my daily musings you can go to www.theeverydaygrace.com. We're making moves people and it's exciting! I have an official Facebook page (feel free to head on over and like it!) and a Google+ account! Let's be friends everywhere! Okay, enough blog promotion.
Since Thanksgiving is 4 days away (hooray!), every day this week, I'm going to blog about what I'm thankful for. Since I'm late to the game, I'm going to do it all this week, through Sunday. Let's be real, 7 days isn't enough to come close to all the things I'm thankful for, but I'll come close.
#1: Adam, weekends & the Denver Broncos.
This week we we're lucky enough to get to go to our first Broncos game! It was freezing cold and snowing occasionally, but it was so fun! We tailgated, drank some beers and watched our team win! I'm thankful for Adam always, but the chance to go to the Broncos game with him was the cherry on top of a great weekend.
