Ingredients:
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/4 cup shallot, minced fine
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon pepper
How to Make:
- Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a quick simmer.
- Reduce to medium-low heat and cover for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. (It might stick to the pan!)
- The longer you simmer, the better the flavor. I probably simmered for about 35 minutes.
- Pour over the meatloaf, chicken, steak, macaroni and cheese.
