The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale: My Summer Must Haves

It's my favorite time of the year! Nordstrom is currently hosting their half yearly sale! There is literally nothing better. Better than ice cream? Nope. Better than fresh nails? Nope. Better than... okay. We get it.

I mean maybe if Nordstrom gave me 3 hours to run around and grab everything I wanted for free, it might be better. But just by a little. This sale offers up to 40% off. I've spent the last 3 hours blissfully grazing all the amazing clothes, great shoes and everything and anything in between.

Between Nordstrom and Madewell, I don't shop elsewhere, so a sale at a place I already love? Done.

Since we moved to Denver, even Adam loves Nordstrom. Don't tell him I told you this because he'd be mortified, but he actually enjoys shopping at Nordstrom. It's kind the best. I leave to go upstairs and he peruses the shoes and mens clothes and we meet an hour later. Marriage is compromise, unless it's Nordstrom and then its pure bliss.



The big sale ends June 4, which is coming super quick, so to help narrow your choices. I am literally doing your shopping for you! All you have to do is click and buy. Does it get any easier? Take my work, Nords has a TON of stuff on sale. Remember how I said I'd been browsing for 3 hours? Well I absolutely could have browsed for longer. To save you that time. I did the hard work for ya.

I am giving you my top 6 favorites from all the categories; shirts, dresses, jumpsuits, shoes and shorts. Ladies, it's time to get your summer wardrobe ready for all those BBQ's, birthday parties and everything else. Let's get to it.

Shirts: Currently I am obsessed with the off the shoulder/cold shoulder trend. I think it's the perfect mix of summery/sexy but conformable. They are the best way to dress up jeans. And the perfect way to show off a fresh summer tan (or spray tan in my world). The best part? All of these shirts are under $50! I'm trying to wear less black, it's not going great, hence why I picked out more colors. I'm trying people.

Dresses: If it were up to me, I would always be in dresses. I prefer them over pants any day and I think they're a perfect outfit for summer. Again, all these dresses are under $100. Guys, this sale is the best thing ever.

Jumpsuits: Jumpsuits are my second favorite thing to dresses. Easy to dress up and down and perfect for summer. The only bad part about jumpsuits is going to the bathroom. Girls, you all know what I'm talking about here. I failed in the black category here, but I couldn't resist. They are all so cute. Adam, I'm turning 30 in one week, hint hint.

Shoes: Shoes are the best because you never outgrow them. Except when you're pregnant and that's an entirely different blog post in and of itself. However, currently, my feet are the same size which means buying shoes is always a safe bet. I'm a sucker for a good sneaker, but I'm really trying to branch out. I have a ton of shoes (see my reasoning above) and Adam told me he didn't understand how or why I wear the same pair every day. I'm working on utilizing all shoes. Buying more shoes is probably the best way to do this.

Shorts: Not gonna lie, I'm not a huge shorts person. Like I mentioned, I prefer dresses. But I really want these overalls. Like, I actually need them. Denver has finally stopped snowing and it's supposed to be 80 this weekend, so it looks like I need to get on the shorts trend. Time to start shopppping.
