Happy Saturday friends! This year flew. Sure I was pregnant for almost the entire year, but the entire year went by in a flash and now I'm sitting here with a 3-month old trying to figure out how to slow time down.
These are always my favorite posts of the year. I LOVE looking back on the year and remembering all the good stuff. Last year I switched up this post to quarters, it makes it a little easier :)
If you're interested in the previous years, you can find them here!
Happy 2018 everyone. I hope your year was full of joy, happiness and love. Cheers to the memories of the last year and all the amazing memories we'll make next year.

2014: The year we moved to Denver 2015: The year we got married 2016: The year of new babies, weddings of best friends and happiness 2017: The year of growth2018: The year of Quinn.
Dear Instagram, we had a pretty good year together. It seemed like you all loved me being pregnant. But for me, telling you I was pregnant was one of the highlights of my year.
January, February, and March: We found out we were pregnant January 5, so to say the year started with a bang is a bit of an understatement. We spent most of January laying low because #morningsickness. We ventured to Arizona and told our families. I blogged about the Bachelor. I loved my Fab Fit Fun Box. I told ya why I quit my job and what I'm thankful for. March, we found out we were having a girl! Oh what a wonderful start to the year.
The Best Of: Learning Quinnie was a girl.
April, May, and June: We went to Jackson Hole for Easter, Adam and I celebrated 3 years of wedded bliss, my mom came to visit, I turned 31 and we celebrated baby girl, twice! I told ya what I wish I knew when I started blogging, the best things about pregnancy, my pregnancy must-haves and what to do in Scottsdale. We had a scary first trimester, so making it through our 20 week appointment was a huge blessing. I
The Best of: Our wonderful baby showers.
July, August and September: The last three months being pregnant were hard. It was hot, I was huge and we were dying to have Quinn here. We traveled to Steamboat Springs for Adams birthday, got the nursery prepped, packed my hospital bag and prepared our hearts and lives for what was about to happen. I gave you baby updates here here and here, I told you why baby wouldn't be on social media, I gave you 12 pieces of pregnancy advice and I told you 5 things I'm thankful for.
October, November and December: Honestly these last three months have been the best blur of our lives. We've been basking in newborn baby glow. Sleepy nights turn into sleepy days, baby smiles and coos are stronger than coffee and we couldn't be more obsessed with Quinn. She's 3 months and 2 weeks old as I write this, sleeping through the night and the happiest baby I've ever seen. I told you about her birth story (25 hours!), I showed you her nursery and mamas, I spoke to you.
The Best Of: Quinn, every day, all day.
Happy 2018 everyone. I hope your year was full of joy, happiness and love. Cheers to the memories of the last year and all the amazing memories we'll make next year.
Happy Monday! How was your weekend? For us, this weekend was so perfectly uneventful. Adam went to a boys 'scotch and steak' night on Saturday. I got takeout, watched Hallmark and was in bed by 9pm. Heaven on earth, I tell ya.
Can you believe we are officially one week from Christmas and two weeks until 2018! Cue all the Christmas movies, music, cookies and decor! I am so excited for the buzz this week brings. Christmas is my most favorite time and I plan on soaking in all things Christmas from now on.
Usually this post comes in more of a review style. You can check out some previous years here:
2014: the year we moved to Denver
2015: the year we got married
2016: the year of new babies, weddings of best friends and happiness.
A lot happened in 2017, but I felt like changing up the style of the post. Plus, those review posts take forever to read and who's got time for that. 2017 has been a very unique year.
It's been a year of growth, changes, extreme highs and extreme lows. Adam and I grew closer than ever. We learned to lean into each other and God more than we thought possible. We celebrated some of our greatest joys, some of the best weddings and some of the best birthdays. I turned 30, we traveled, we lived.
This won't be the ultimate recap, instead, lets talk about the best of 2017.
Instagram, you funny little thing. I've loved you and I've hated you.
April - June: The quarter of bachelorette parties. Calistoga, Austin, you name it, I celebrated it. There is nothing better than watching your best friends marry their person. Bachelorette parties get a lot of bad raps. "Too much money" "Too much time away" "blah blah blah" I will admit, I've made these complaints before, but in the end, if someone thinks I am worthy of celebrating their marriage with them I am 100% game.
I wrote a ton of travel guides, Austin, Napa, Grand Cayman. I celebrated my mom and I celebrated the big 30. And, I found the best jacket from Target. I love the early summer months.
The best of: Learning that 30 wasn't as scary as I imagined.

Instagram, you funny little thing. I've loved you and I've hated you.
1. I turned 30! 2. I celebrated my #mcm. 3. Adam threw me the best thirtieth birthday party.
4. You guys LOVED this pink lace jacket. 5. My BFF, Whitney celebrated her birthday.
6. Adam and I celebrated two years of marriage! 7. Henry and I posed together.
7. Best friends. 8. Mama.
Like I said, instead of going month by month, we're going quarter-by-quarter.
January - March: I hate to say these months were a blur. Nothing crazy happened, nothing bad happened, nothing super notable happened. Trump was inaugurated, Nick was the Bachelor again, I did my first blog photoshoot and I posted the bloopers. We started the new year fresh, strong and ready to take it on.
The best of: Leo was baptized, Otto was baptized, my father in law turned 60, my cousin Rachel came to visit. Who am I kidding, we had a great first quarter.
My first official unofficial photoshoot.

My 30th in Arizona with the best of the bests.
July - September: In July I got to watch one of my best friends get married in what I describe as the most incredible wedding I've ever attended. Not only for its beauty, but the love of these two humans. July we celebrated Adam's birthday and ventured to Estes Park. In August, we watched two more of our fabulous couple friends get married. Like I said before people, I love watching love.
September 1, we found out we were pregnant. We heard the heartbeat, we told our friends, we told our families and the rest of that month was prepping for baby.
The best of: Hearing the heartbeat.

The best of: Hearing the heartbeat.
Two hours before this photo was taken I saw those two beautiful blue lines.

October - December: Officially the hardest quarter of the year. The first of October we found out that we would no longer be parents. If I'm being totally honest, October and half of November went by in a blur that I'm happy to forget about. The silver lining of sadness, leaning in to those closest to you. Adam and I experienced things we never wished for in our lives together. But we got through them together. One day, we'll look back with a rainbow baby in our hands and realize this was all a part of His bigger plan.
November, I spent time in Michigan with my grandmother, Thanksgiving in Arizona with my family and soon to be Omaha for Christmas. The over-arching theme of this quarter? Family.
The best of: Letting those who love you, love you a little harder.
Happy 2017 people! Can you believe we are only two weeks away from 2018! That is crazy. Here's to spending those last few weeks with the ones you love, doing what you love and creating the best memories for next year.
Thanks for joining me on this crazy ride this year.

Happy 2017 everyone! How crazy that feels to type! It seems like as I get older the years go faster and faster! One way I try and slow that down is to reminisce on all the things from the last year. Year is Review is one of my most favorite posts. I just love looking back on everything from the previous year.
Before we get started -- a huge thanks is necessary to all you lovely blog readers who have turned friends and supporters. Thank you for loving Everyday Grace as much as I do. Thank you for supporting this space, these posts and me. It wouldn't be here without all of you. Cheers to 2017, better posts, more posts and lots of fun.
This is a big post peeps, get ready! 2014, I got engaged. 2015, I got married. 2016, I lived my married life.
This has been a year. Some have called it the worst year for celebrities in history of years. Some have called it the worst year period. And yes, there have been some crazzyyyy things to occur this year, but I still think 2016 was pretty dang good. Let's recap, shall we?
January: January started slow with sober and paleo January. While that isn't the most fun way to start a year, it is such a refreshing way to start. Adam and I celebrated 8 months of marriage, the bachelor was in full swing, the Broncos were in the playoffs, I featured some really fun bloggers and we found out we got the house of our dreams! It was a quite, but fun month! The best part, the quite before the year really started.
February: The month of babies and new houses! In February, two of my best friends had their baby showers. I ventured to Omaha to throw a shower with my girl B, for our best girl Lyndsey. It was such a fun (cold) weekend celebrating all the love a new baby brings. After Omaha, Adam and I closed on our house and finally moved in thanks to his parents huge help! It was so incredible. At the end of February, I ventured to Arizona for Whitney's baby shower! I just LOVED celebrating all these amazing babies in my life. February went so fast, but was one of my favorite months ever. The best part, watching my best friends celebrate their babies.
March: March was the month of visitors. Adams best friends, my parents, my sister and brother in law and a couple friends of ours. Now that we have a house, it is so fun that we can have people stay with us! In March, we found out that Lauren won Ben's heart on the Bachelor, I made some horrible paleo recipes and figured out how to use Snapchat. The best part, I got to go to Arizona to celebrate my best friend and her stunning wedding shower. I'm pretty sure there is nothing better than watching your best friend get married. March was full of lots of love.
April: In April, we celebrated our two-year Denver Anniversary, I surprised my best friends and spent 18 hours in Arizona meeting my best friends new little babe, we celebrated our first Easter together and made rack of lamb and I conquered paleo desserts. The best part of April - Coti's bachelorette party in San Diego. Part of this trip went into May, but the first day of the trip was the best.
May: May was a long month. It started with a bang celebrating Coti's bachelorette party. It was hands down the best celebration ever. Adam and I celebrated ONE year of marriage, crazy! Then I ventured to Omaha to celebrate another best girl of mine's baby, PLUS my brother-in-law got engaged and JoJo became the bachelorette. May ended with some serious sadness in our family with the passing of Adam's grandfather. He was a great man who lived a great life and it was an honor to celebrate him. The best part of May was celebrating our one year of marriage, being married to Adam is the greatest thing ever.
June: I turned 29, but the entire month of June is dedicated to Coti's wedding! We celebrated it in April and May, but the ultimate celebration came in Charlottesville, Virginia! It was the BEST weekend ever celebrating Coti. That was the best part of June and it deserves it's own month.
July: Omaha, Tahoe, Adele and a surprise 30th birthday party for Adam! Oh, what a month. We spent the 4th with our family in Omaha, 6 days in Tahoe with family + we found out we were getting another nephew, friends came to Denver and we saw ADELE and then.. all our best friends and family came to Denver to surprise Adam with a crawfish boil 30th birthday. This month was the best because it was so full of family and friends. My heart is so full.
August: One year post knee surgery, hurray! And the best part, getting Lola! We spent the whole month potty training a pup. We had a great visit from Lyndsey, Kyle and her little babe Caroline! It was a perfectly, slow August full of patio time and cocktails.
September: September started with the gallon challenge. A gallon of water a day. It was SO dang hard, but really glad I did it. Adam and I surprised my Dad for his 65th birthday in Arizona. We had an amazing dinner with our his friends and our family. Celebrating my dad was the BEST part of September.
October: We finished the gallon challenge in October, hallelujah. I had the best girls weekend in Denver and we did everything under the sun. My brother and sister in law came in town and we did the Great American Beer Festival. Then we ventured to Omaha to celebrate my adorable nieces 4th birthday! Last but not least, my parents were so sweet and came to Denver to bring me stuff from heir house, we topped off the weekend with a Broncos game and win! October was so fun, but the best part was all our visitors.
November: Adam and I celebrated 6 years together! Is that possible? Adam went to Notre Dame for football, I went to Omaha for a baby shower. My new nephew was born!! Trump won the election. Cubs won the World Series. And, to cap off the month, Adam and I ventured back to Omaha for Thanksgiving. This month seemed to fly by but the best part is that November is the ultimate month of gratitude.
December: I think December is my favorite month every year. It is always snowy in Denver, full of Christmas lights, fun trips, great happy hours and lots of family time. To start off the month, Adam and I hosted breakfast club and watched the Broncos win, Adams parents came into town and we went to Vail. I found out I'm cleared to ski again! We had happy hours with friends. And then to top it off, ventured to Arizona for Christmas where we got to watch my new nephew get baptized, celebrate my mom's 65th birthday and spend 5 solid days with family. New Years ended with a bang with a great group of friends to ring in the new year.
You guys made it!
I know everyone said 2016 wasn't the greatest year, but I would beg to differ. It's so easy to get caught up in all the bad stuff that happens and forget the great and amazing things. My friend told me the other day, it's easy to be good when life is good, but its when life is hard that you get to be great.
Happy New Year, Happy 2017! I have a feeling this year is going to be even better than 2016. Here's to being kinder than last year, working harder and being great.
Ps. Get ready because tomorrow The Bachelor posts are back and boy do we have a lot to talk about!

Everyone says it, but can you believe how fast 2015 went? It seems like just yesterday I was writing my year in review for 2014, but here I am, drifting down 2015's memory lane.
Oh, 2015. What a year you were.
Between lay-offs, torn ACL's, delicious recipes, gorgeous weddings, fun honeymoons, failures, successes and everything in between made for a 2015 I certainly wont forget anytime soon.
#bestofnine is currently sweeping Instagram and I'm not one to let trends go by without joining in. Before we start the year in review, here's my best of nine! It appears the winter season pictures are really loved. Thanks for following, liking and commenting :) 2015 really has been one of the bests.
Warning: this post might be a little long, but it's my fav, so grab a glass of wine and settle in.
It's time to look back on 2015.
January: I got laid off. Am I allowed to say that? I've never written that out before. But I got laid off in January. But I also made my first patch of paleo bread, saw Sam Smith live, watched a lot of the Bachelor, and did a lot of Pure Barre. Overall, it was a great month.
February: I was thrown a gorgeous bridal shower, went to my best friends gorgeous bridal shower, watched more episodes of the Bachelor and tore my ACL and my meniscus.
March: March was slow. I was a month out from tearing my ACL so it consisted of a lot of surgeon appointments, MRI's and random doctor visits. We sent our wedding invites out and prepped for our honeymoon. I got a wonderful new job (which is still my current job), crafted some delicious recipes, Jamie King re-tweeted me and Whitney won the Bachelor. Wanna know the BEST part about March? My adorable niece was born.
April: April was a really fast blur of a month. Dress fittings, my best friend's bachelorette party and my bachelorette party in Vegas. It was Adam and my one year Denver-Anniversary, we made delicious recipes and enjoyed our last month as an engaged couple!
May: I got married! By far the best month of the year. We spent 6 wonderful days in Arizona celebrating all things wedding. We got married and ventured off to Grand Cayman for the most wonderful honeymoon in the world. Tanned and relaxed we headed back to Arizona for my best friends wedding and my 10-year high school reunion. Oh, what a month. It will be one I'll always remember.
June: June was the calm after the storm. May was the busiest month of my life and in June we relaxed. I turned 28, we celebrated one month of marriage and we settled into life as husband and wife. Wanna know the BEST part about June? My best friend got engaged! Hooray!
July: Adam turned 29, we celebrated the 4th of July in Omaha and I took a blogging hiatus. The blogging hiatus was the best thing I did for myself and this space of mine. I came back inspired, encouraged and ready to write. To celebrate July, you get a delicious picture of my hubs!
August: The hiatus ended and I reintroduced myself to you, my lovely readers. Kids started school, my nephew turned one and we threw an amazing shower for Coti and Matt. The worst part? I had knee surgery. The best part. I started healing. August was good, but I was glad when it was over.
September: Adam and I spent Labor Day in Jackson Hole, Wyoming which is so rad. We celebrated tons of birthdays. I conquered paleo banana bread, got my knee surgery brace off, I had some great guest posters on the blog and we enjoyed fall in Denver.
October: I failed and I found my self worth. I went to Michigan to celebrate family. I saw Taylor Swift with my girls, watched my niece turn three and went to the Denver Beer Festival. I mastered the art of paleo muffins, I co-hosted an Instagram challenge and I figured out what is the most important. It was a month of learning, growing, some tears and a few bottles of wine. I think these months are the most important because it's how you grow.
November: in November, Adam and I celebrated 5 years together and 6 months of marriage. We made delicious food - ribs and again, I mastered paleo sandwich bread. We spent Thanksgiving in Arizona with our family, celebrated World Kindness Day, had a ton of snow storms and I launched my sponsorship program!
December: Adam and I spent a weekend in Keystone, dinner dates with friends, I showed you what's in my bag, we starting looking for houses, I showed you who I think is the most fascinating and we spent Christmas in Omaha. December flies by every year and every year I have all these huge plans, but it escaped me again this year. Now, we're gearing up for New Years and 2016!
So, I hope you enjoyed that super long trip down memory lane because I loved it! How was your year? Anything super fab? Let me know, I want to hear all about it! Until next year everyone! Happy 2016!

Happy 2016!
Happy New Years Eve everyone. I hope you're getting ready for something sparkly and fabulous or following my lead and staying in, watching Netflix and ordering in pizza. 2014 has been one of my favorite years yet. A lot of changes, happiness, sadness and some of the most amazing memories. This is going to be a long post, so if you need something quick, I suggest looking at the Skimm, it will be shorter than today. I hope the rest of you enjoy!
January: Can I be honest? January was kind of a blur. We were still living in Omaha, the weather was cold and dreary and the only real thing I can remember is that Henry had knee surgery. Oh, and I was studying for the February bar exam. That's why January flew by with nothing exciting.

February: February, along with my two best friends, ventured up to Des Moines, Iowa to take the bar exam in a blizzard. More on that later, but turns out February was a pretty good month. I also saw Justin Timberlake in concert. Woah.
March: March was bitter sweet, it's when Adam and I found out that we would be moving to Denver! My mom and I ventured off to Denver in search of apartments. Also, Lynds and I saw Lady Antebellum, and they were amazing! Can you tell I love concerts?
April: I passed the bar exam and got sworn in! Hooray! Of of my favorite couple days of celebration! Adam and I celebrated Easter with his family, had some amazing going away parties and officially moved to Denver.
May: May was our first full month in Denver and we experienced all the weather it had to offer, blizzards & tornadoes! We spend Memorial Day in Arizona with the family and celebrating the wedding of our great friends. Are you bored yet? Cuz I'm loving reliving these moments :)
June: June was my most favorite month by far this year. Adam and I got engaged. Some other things happened too (like my birthday), but this was the best even ever and I think it deserves its own month. June was the month I said yes and it was the best decision I've ever made.
July: July was a great vacation month for us, Omaha for the 4th and Tahoe later on with our family. It was so fun getting to spend the summer on the water with our friends and family. And Adam celebrated his birthday!
August: When I think of August, I think of the revamp of this blog, engagement parties, wedding dresses and my handsome little nephew Tomas being born. It was such an overwhelming month in such a good way.
September: I started my first job in Denver! Oh what a delicious 5 months its been! This getting paid regularly thing is quite nice. (Only 3 more months to go!)
October: Breckenridge vacations, engagement pictures, bridal showers and snuggles with my nephew. October rocked.
November: November I celebrated 4 years with Adam, 3 months with my nephew Tomas, my first Broncos game and my first Thanksgiving with Adams family. So many wonderful things to celebrate!
